Hey ladies! I want to share something with you tonight. We see a lot of talk in here about psoriasis and what products to use to "treat" it. We are a pampering company and NOT a pharmacy, but I want to share a very personal story with you all. My husband has suffered with psoriasis for over 35 years on over 85% of his body. Not just little patches of it, but plaque psoriasis. To those that aren't familiar with this disease, and it is an auto immune disease, it causes his body to continuously produce skin cells and they build up in multiple layers called plaque. For years he has taken various shots, called biologic DMARDS. Unfortunately, these medications have been linked to infections and cancer. Well, last fall he was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer and can no longer take the medication to control the symptoms associated with his psoriasis (itching, skin shedding, feeling like ants are crawling all over him, and total discomfort 24/7), you know, like the hell of cancer treatment isn't enough! So, after trying many of our products to "pamper" his skin I really started researching the ingredients to see what would help him the most. WE FOUND THE ANSWER! Muddy Honey combined with Honey Honey Body Creme! We don't rinse off the Muddy Honey, and we apply the body Creme over the top after it dries. He is finally able to sleep, and isn't scratching until he bleeds anymore! He wanted me to share this picture with you all, of his back, so that you could have some idea of what people with psoriasis deal with. The bad part is, this actually looks good compared to a month ago. His hands were so bad with the skin build up that he couldn't bend his fingers.
